The Costa Mesa Community Foundation (the Foundation)
will annually award funds for projects in the following
four community objective areas: Youth Education & Recreation,
Park Enhancements, Public Safety, and Community Pride
Initiatives.
Over the past nine (9) years, the Foundation has awarded
more than $275,000 to worthwhile community programs
and projects. Funding has provided new playground
equipment for handicapped access at TeWinkle Park,
supported construction of the new Veterans’ Memorial
at Harbor Lawn Cemetery, and supplied fire extinguishers
for senior residents of Bethel Towers. These
are only some of the wonderful programs submitted
by community groups that have come before the Foundation
for assistance.
The Costa Mesa Community Foundation knows that our
Costa Mesa residents, community organizations, businesses,
and civic institutions are rich with talent and creativity
when it comes to ways to enhance our neighbors and
our community. We can provide the financial
support to turn ideas into reality. We look
forward to helping you make Costa Mesa an even better
place to live, work, and shop!
Sincerely,
Costa Mesa Community Foundation
